A TSW Announcement: Happy Birthday Charlene!

by Fr. Gordon J. MacRae on August 10, 2010 · 5 comments

Charlene Duline celebrates her birthday this Friday. Charlene scans my posts each week and e-mails them to Suzanne in Australia for publication on TSW. She also reads me your comments and puts up with all my mistakes, and with me. I could not add much to what I wrote of her a year ago in my post, “Drinking from the Saucer.” Perhaps you could take a moment to read it, and, in honor of her birthday, to visit her new website at www.DrinkingFromTheSaucer.net and her Prodigal Catholic Writer blog (www.ProdigalCatholicWriter.blogspot.com). A “Happy Birthday” comment would be welcomed.

Charlene, a belated happy birthday. Thank you for all the support you gave me when I was deployed to Afghanistan. Thanks again for sending me your book, Drinking from the Saucer. I really loved it. You are a World traveller and make me look like an amateur. I am back with the Marines at Camp Pendleton. I’ll be sending Fr. Gordon an update. Take care, God bless and Semper Fi! Fr. Joe
